A Mother's love knows no limit

Note: Please bear with my work.. just my first time to do a poem, this is a free verse poem

I remember the days when I was still a toddler
You pampered me with love and care
And when I was already a teenager you're still there..
In my weakest moment.. you're my strength
In my lowest point.. you're my friend
But now you're in pain, who was to be blame?
As your body gets weaker, your faith goes stronger
And as I've looked upon you in your deathbed..
My tears poured out like a river..
Even at your last breath you still think about my welfare
In the future I want to be like you..
for you are not just a homemaker, but a loving mother too..
   You're not just a mom, You're a supermom
If others think you are nothing, for me you are everything...

   P.S.

my mother sometimes a nagger, but I don't care.. coz I love her
This is for my mom,, Happy Birthday!! Love you mom still missing you..
I know that were gonna meet someday, haha but I don't want it so soon..

God's favorite gifts

I was with a fox that was also a bus last night. I danced my hearts out with big
furry rounded bears two nights ago. While waiting for my mom, I shared a roof with
rabbit that sings with flutes and harps.

Beauty of the imagination can a tell a story that can speak a thousand tales. We
as beings share a fact in each and everyone or thing in this universe and that is
time is bounded to us or we are to it. Demise or new beginning may start after death.
That is fate. We as human beings grow old. We gain so much as we grow, some may gain
more weight than others, but we may also lose something in return. We
may lose track of what is and must be, an embodiment in which God cherishes in
one of His/Her greatest creation, the soul of the young ones that children lives as much as
they can in the days, months and years they are given.

The wonder kids experience just by going somewhere in which old folks like us
see as trivial. Kids see uncanny little tidbits moving in walls, we see ants crawling
to our food. Kids see colorful fans flapping in the air, we see butterflies just
flying. Kids see a big happy red faced something floating in the air, we see an effing
Jolibee signboard. So is maturity truly the best thing while you lose youthfulness?

Just imagine, being inside those kids minds; seeing what they are seeing,
feeling what they are feeling, dancing to what they are dancing,
and experiencing the wonder they see in a world that a whole lot take for granted.
The wonder, magic and curiousity they feel, see, hear and taste could be
boggles the mind. Many if asked and given the opportunity would like to travel
and most will say they will like to go somewhere that they still have gone to.
One big reason is that is something new, one wants to experience the newness
of a place, a feeling that kids most of their childhood experience.

Time passes, age ages and habits change and go but having a youthful heart that
cherishes innocence, curiosity, and wonder from a child in you makes a difference
that is reminiscent of a life of laughter, joy, and fun at the right amount if not more.
Children is one of God's most cherished gifts and if you are believer or not of
a God, let us just think that if we one to be closer to something extraordinary,
let us not forsake a quality, an age, that keeps life a more wonderful home to be
part of - a world of wonder....

P.S.
Just watched a DVD copy of "Big Hero 6" last week with my nephew...and goodness...even though it was my 3rd time watching it, there were these some parts of the movie which I thought was not funny but I got to laugh my hearts out because my nephew led to laughter to the said scenes...It is a good reminder...so fistbump to kids at heart there...tralalalalal!

Beauty of the Broken

Note: This is from somebody who rarely shares anything. Feel free to criticize if you want.

            Beauty of the Broken

When have you started caressing the rusty metals of an old gate as if it's freshly painted? When have you admired the fallen leaves on the dusty road? When have you smiled at such a vulnerable and weak person? When have you taken pictures of the torn pieces of old stationery papers? When have you kept a letter with a sloppy handwriting? When have you noticed your admiration for things they call ugly?

One female noticed this weird perspective of hers. She was a lover of a lot of things that are beautiful in particular. Having no idea whether it's because of her obsession with optimism did she started to notice that people, even those whom she might call her haters, were not completely bad in her sight. At some point, she might silently giggle or smile at a habit or movement a person has been making even if it's normal just like the others. There are also instances when she would admire their appearances and think of how equally beautiful every person was on the hallways and roads she had passed by. And wanting to stay beside an enemy in a coffee shop all day with comfortable silence is most importantly unusual in a normal life flow we knew of. But this is how she lives.

We wonder why we can still see the positive one among the crowd of negatives on a person or a thing. As someone who is not yet old enough and experienced, I wouldn't know the real reason behind this yet. For now, it would be best to say that it is a healthy exercise of your perspective because from the way you describe others in your point of view, you could always get an easier chance to understand others up to the depths of their personalities. That way, interactions and relationships will get better, more exciting, and more healthy-living. Because subjectively, maybe, beauty is defined on how we see it--without any exact words or actions but spontaneous yet reassuring ones.

"we accept the love we deserve"

You have a shitty boyfriend that cheats on you. You have a bitchy girlfriend
that takes you for granted. You have a sucky parent that controls you unfairly.
You have a bullshit friend that leaves you to danger. You have a life partner
that make feel so small and disheartedly.

These are feelings or situations that people in a relationship with love may
experience in different spans of time. That would surely be effing stressful,
hassle and disheartening. You may know this already, choose to look the other way
or sadly and probably reasonably have no idea at all.

Ask advice from someone regarding your problems and some may say that you
should just cut or break it off, you deserve better, there are other fishes in the
sea, and many other advices which if hits the spot is so freaking reasonable or
logical.

We accept the love we deserve then spoils all the reason in the world. You can
give a friend, son, daugther or partner all the logical paths to take in a
problem but people in the inside can be as close minded as hell.

We love for simply, we love...sometimes uncontrollably, blindly and blissfully
which is not necessarily a bad thing. You and your wife/husband agaisnt the world
in a boxing match is surely a crazy one that you will lose. But then again,
you accepted what you deserve, what you seek and what you feel.
So world, what the hell, I chose this and I accepted it...

So stupid, is it not...that takes guts, gambling a card that surely will lose 100%
or is it.

People in the inside and the outside are of two different realities, situations
and directions. Openess is still key but also, loving in what we deserve and
accepting it would be love that makes you feel alive and dead at different times.
Something that though shitty it may seem to you or to others is something worth living for...

Well, as wise beatle have said..."All you need is love"
Morning bitches....evening fuckers...

Well, sorry for the language, its just so invigorating...we are not in class already guys...so no holds barred it is...well, not really...just freeing...diss me if you care...haha

Anyways, to my point, I invite you ladies and gents, to continue to post in this blog and give your insights and comments about anything that you feel, like or frown upon...

This is our communal creation of our voices, our book, our history, our life that parts of it we want to share...I'll post some stuff from time to time...so it would be greatly appreciated if you too as well...

So I hope to hear from you guys, and girls soon...

Godspeed...let's life in part through the posts...

P.S.

For the instigator of this blog, those who got invited her, knows her already......don't know if she wants her name to be written here so if  she does not...so to be on the safe side...so just to show appreciation...let us raise our imaginary glass and SALUTE...THANK YOU...also, if you need something...seriously, you can get your favor from me...

Feelings

By Patricia Anne Calvo

For what I say is my emotions’ seal
I shall limit
My words to only what I feel
I prefer the truth than an enchanting reel
I’d prefer reality than what is surreal
To me, to find true love, is a zeal
If yours or my feelings fail to congeal
I won’t mind shifting my steering wheel

Dreams
By Patricia Anne Calvo

When I plan to love you for as long as I live?
First in mind every morning
And dreams of you by the evening
How much more can I give?
I’ll love you more than you’ll ever know
And the one you can be free with as a dove?
And everyday it continues to grow

Are you Love?
By Patricia Anne Calvo

The one to be the right to your left glove?
We won’t wait weeks, months, but more
But I won’t think of that as a bore
Because you’re everything that I’ve asked for
Can’t wait for you to walk through the front door
                 I don’t care, it’s worth the wait

Pie in the Sky

by: Mariella Pauline Gutierrez

Fingertips reaching out endlessly,
Pupils wavering at the sky hopelessly,
Wondering why the society is against your plans,
And antagonists waving out with flying pans.

You have an idea, a concept, a dream,
And so are your fellow people in their own realm
But there is just this little difference
That yours were high as the sky, an impossible preference.

But though shall not be sad,
Because your hopes were not that bad.
It will be possible if you start small, And
then, like magic, victory will be your call.

Fingertips reaching out endlessly, Pupils
 wavering at the sky hopelessly
Hold on to the strand of your hopes tighter.
For him, for her, for them, for the society, for the better.

Heroes Defined

By Mariella Pauline Gutierrez

They danced to the beat of a different drum
From their very own road they will come
Will paint the world with black and white
An ironic combination of emotions kept tight.

Their ideas swim from the depths of reality
That shallow minds often classify them surreality
Truth is, there’s this word called creativeness
That covers the rough skin into tenderness.

Today you call them strange
When they’re only people who wanted change
A change for the sake of the society
and some particular who They’re called heroes,
you’ve forgotten them, don’t you?

The Philippine Pen
By Mariella Pauline Gutierrez

You write some good stuff, what language do you use? You are great and skilled, what language do you use?

You can persuade and influences, from which country are you? You write so well but first things first, how nationalist are you?

The restless days when you write with emotion The fingers on one hand getting stiff and you question

For what, whom, or why do I write this thing Is it for myself, the society, or anything?

“Country” is a word one should never forget It should stay in your mind before you regret

The land you were born in deserves an expectation That you will protect and love your own nation.

The strangers passed to ruin our culture And made our eyes look at them in the future But why would we, Filipinos, let them to do so

When we are expected nationalism to forego?
heThe drops of ink are the number of hearts Who dedicated themselves and all of their parts

With endless number of pages that tell us one message Being proud of our nation is the best pilgrimage.

12 Midnight
 By Mariella Pauline Gutierrez

Twelve could mean a lot of things Twelve can be the number itself

Twelve could mean how much money she brings, But here twelve is the time to wake up yourself.

When twelve strikes it means another day Another tomorrow, a new future

You tend to reflect what you’ve done yesterday

Anything good? Anything better?

Have you done something for your culture?

Twelve is a number that reminds you dear citizen
To escape surrealism and battle with reality

A tap on your shoulder to say you’re awaken

Somebody needs your attention, the name is Country!

The Filipino Bullet
 By Mariella Pauline Gutierrez

Who thought that only villains could shoot? And heroes will lose and fall on their foot? Guns don’t choose the hand that will hold

But wait for the one who gets hot in the cold

Once in our lifetime we choose our own target The intense emotions are suppressed in your pocket Waiting for the villains to appear

And end their plans that we call severe

Filipinos! It’s time, have we had enough?

From sufferings, misgovernance and colonizers’ bluff?

Let us raise our guns high up in the sky

It will serve as our hopes to be free and fly high.

Opisyales

Reklamador
Isinulat ni Judith Anne Jabson

Nakakakinis ang pilipinas
Walang asenso sa pilipinas
Madumi ang pilipinas
Walang kwenta ang pilipinas.

 Ano ang kahihinatnan ng bansa?
 Kung puro reklamo
 Kung puro na lamang negatibo?
Nakasanayan nay an ng mga Pilipino

 Walang magbabago sa ating bansa,
 Kung lahat ay nakatunganga.
 Kung walang may gumagawa
 Lahat tayo’y nakatunganga

 Baguhin natin muna ang sarili
 Mga makakabuti ay gawin
 At makikita natin

 Puro suliranin at problema.
 Pumupuno sa aking mga mata

 Simulan natin sa problemang maliit
 Maging huwaran tayo sa paligid
 Maraming bagay ang pwedeng gawin.
Tiyak, pag-unlad ay makakamit.

 Lahat tayo at pwedeng tumulong.
 Mapa-unlad ang paligid at mapayabong
 Sa ating mga simpleng paraan,
 Siguradong unlad ang ating Nayon.

Media or Fame?

By: Judith Anne Jabson

Children almost see all things today.
They know that life doesn’t have to be this way.
 They see all the lies.
So that’s why they close their eyes.

All the gun and knife fights today.
Why all hate and war started this way? I
s media part of the blame?

Or all people, all the fame should take the blame.

Kabataan Ngayon

 Buhay ba nila’y balewala?

Sino nga ba ang dapat sisihin? Gobyerno na dapat ay may solusyon. Puro salita ang gobyerno.

Sila mismo ang nagkakait ng maginhawang buhay.
